More Info

This Brown Egg MIX contains eggs from two types of chickens:

-Golden Laced Wyandotte that lay 4 medium-sized light brown eggs per week

- Blue Copper Marans that lay 3 medium-to-large eggs per week ranging in color from caramel to chocolate.

Easton Silva, Frank's grandson, raises a variety of heritage chickens because they are cold-hardy, docile, disease resistant, and have great foraging capabilities. Heritage food sources grow slower and provide less quantity yet contain more nutrients than commercially hi-bred animals.
